Ever since
I worked in a small family owned restaurant in Whately Mass I have been wracking my brain for a new, different hot sauce.
Something I could put on ham, or pork. And most of all, something that WAS NOT RED! It's always the same, all of them. Oh
yeh, some are hotter than others, and I have seen clear ones, and the funny names, catchy funny pictures. All great marketing stuff,
but never any that I truly enjoyed.
There was always
an idea in the back of my head to try this, and I almost did, a couple times over the years, but something always came up,
you know, mow the lawn, snow blow the driveway, a trip here, a trip there, WORK.
Then one day,
my wife decided to raise rabbits for folks to buy as pets, and just like that, she was off and running, rabbits, cages, hay,
the whole 9 yards. Most every Tuesday, down to the auction she goes, looking for just the right ones. And one day she says
to me, here, make me a site for the bunnies, and I do, holy crap I do! Well I think that was easy, but this bunny thing is
out of control, she wants business cards too!! So I do, well that was damned easy too!!!
Hmmmmm, well
I think, she dove right into this bunny thing, bah why not? I'll brew up a batch and try it!
Well I did,
and fanned it out to the guys at work, It was good! But alas, not enough KAPOW!!! So I try a 2nd batch, that rather quickly
went to the trash, of course when she was not looking,,,
My 3rd batch
was a work of art! I fanned that out all over the place, guy's at work got most of it, my Dad got some.
Well that is my real story folks, come back later and see just how
a broken hearted pineapple, and drunken habanero, get together, cause I'm still workin on that one.Jim "Big Daddy" McCrory
